View from Celeste

Celeste is located in the heart of the hamlet Le Bosc in a dead-end alley opposite the chestnut square with pétanque court and small playground. A 10 minute walk up the hill brings you to a chapel from 1817 with a view of the Alps and Mont Ventoux. Downhill a romantic forest path leads in 15 minutes to the river Chassezac.

By car you are in 5 minutes in Les Vans, the touristic heart of this sympathetic region with its cosy cafes and restaurants, shops and Saturday market.

In all directions you will find very varied circular walks that allow you to explore the overwhelming diversity of the landscape. Countless mountain rivers invite you to wonderful swimming or adventurous canyoning. 

In the summer there are also many exhibitions and concerts in the little Romanesque churches.

Day trips to caves, Provençal cities such as Uzes, Arles, Avignon or to the Mediterranean Sea will make your holiday completely unforgettable.
